Unlike the legend said, he had survived a confrontation with himself. While he’d like to believe this confrontation hadn’t been more than a dream the view of the ruined village was too much of a proof that he had not been dreaming. Whilst he had apparently defeated the creature he had been unable to save the village and its inhabitants. After a while the thoughts subsided to the physical pain. Stories of a Shadow Chapter 3Hebion traveled for a few days, and spotted some grass, amongst the sea of sand. Looking up and ahead, he sees a village in an oasis, while not showing overwhelming richness, it was tidy, and even otherwise, Hebion could not afford to be picky. His sight was blurry, and the strength was leaving his body as the fangs of the creature were apparently poisonous. Even though his mind thought this way, his body was just too tired already. Hebion realized it had not been a good choice to stop at such a place to check his stalker, a bit too late.
